LeasePlan Romania – 1 Year of Success on the Romanian Market

Bucharest - November 27th 2008 – LeasePlan Romania celebrated one year of activity on the Romanian market. The event, organized by Heat Advertising and directed by Beatrice Rancea, took place in Terra Grand Ballroom Hall of the Parc Hotel and gathered more than 100 guests. The main events of the first year of activity were highlighted through music, dancing and video projections.

Once again, LeasePlan proved the ambition to exceed its customers’ expectations. As for the turnover, according to Bogdan Apahidean, Managing Director of LeasePlan Romania, 2008 was a very good year. The company has exceeded its target by 10%, thus reaching a total of 1100 administered vehicles. This makes LeasePlan Romania the market leader for sales at start-up phase, at both corporate and local level.

Moreover, anticipating client needs, LeasePlan has launched in September 2008 the on-line reporting module, Fleet Reporting. This system provides easy access to an increased number of reports regarding:

  • Car fleet structure - depending on the mileage, type of fuel, models;
  • Statistics – for vehicle and driver, registration numbers, cost centers for fuel consumption, accidents, maintenance procedures and repairs;
  • Cash flow – budgeted costs for each PartnerPlan user.
